If you’re in Bangkok, feel free to visit us for a professional measurement or we can measure you in your hotel. If you’re not in Bangkok, Best Tailor Bangkok Signature’s Collection would like you to please follow the guide below to get accurate measurements for your next piece of clothing.
Jacket Hips
Stand with legs about 6 inches apart and measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Jacket Chest
Wrap tape measure under armpits around fullest part of chest (usually right above nipples.)
Jacket Waist
Wrap tape measure around where you normally wear your pants. Keep tape measure a little loose by keeping a finger between the tape measure and your waist.
Sleeve
Bend your elbow and rest your hand on your hip.
Neck
Measure around the base of the neck in inches.
Shoulder to Shoulder
Measure from one of the corners of each shoulder across to the other.
Outseam
Put on a pair of shoes. Have someone measure from your crotch to back of the heel, where you want your pants to end. For the outseam, measure from the waste to where you would like the pants to end.
Jacket Length
Measure from the tallest part of your shoulder to your desired product length.
Crotch
Measure from the backside to the front side between the legs.
Pant Hips
Measure around the hips of only the pants.
Bottom Ankle
Measure around the bottom of the pant at the ankle.
Thigh
Measure around the thigh.
Bust
Wrap tape measure under the armpits, around the fullest part of the bust.
Bra
Wrap tape measure just under the breasts, around the rib cage. Don’t forget to add four (five if odd number)inches this is your band width. Then subtract your bust measurement from your band width. The result is your bra size.
Take the measure of the bust and subtract this number from it.
The difference, in inches, will give you your bra size according to the following:
AA = 1/2″
A = 1″
B = 2″
C = 3″
D = 4″
DD or E = 5″
